CAUTION

This audiohd driver patch was created for OpenSolaris developper and provide preliminary function of 92HD206 codec. This driver have *NOT* production stableness, *NO WARRENTY*, and also * O B S O L E T E D* .

Now, audiohd driver gained codecs parser in snv_99 ( SXCE 99 ) . You can drive most of audiohd devices without device specific patch. If you have trouble with driving audiohd devices, I RECCOMEND YOU TO CONSIDER UPGRADING SOLARIS TO LATEST ONE.

2008 APR 08 Submitted RFE to OpenSoalris bug database, registered as Bug ID 6685751.
2008 SEP 08
Synopsis was fixed and available on ONNV repository, BUD ID:6740761.

LIMITATION

audiohd driver just support 1 input and 1 record stream. You can playback only 2-channel.
Audiostream output from Front HeadPhone and Front LineOUT only. Other port include SPDIF outputs no signal.
Record loopback unavailable.

COMPILING

This patch was created for latest OpenSolaris onnv-gate source tree. You must make Build Environment of onnv-gate.To compile with 92HD206 support, apply patch and build as usual.
